3x Sixth Man Of The Year Lou Williams Named His Newborn Son “Syx”

1 Min Read

Lou Williams has starred in one of the most curious and interesting moments in the NBA this season. The Los Angeles Clippers figure is trying to have a good moment on and off the court and he’s seemingly doing so.

The Clippers have suffered a couple of unexpected setbacks, but they remain a top candidate in the West.

But, their sixth man has been successful throughout his career and wanted to celebrate his accolades in a great way.

Williams recently revealed he wanted to give his newborn son a unique name and went with ‘Syx’ since he is a 3-time Sixth Man of the Year.

“If I had a son I was going to give him a unique name. So I said you know what, I’m going to name him Syx and spell it a little different.”

Speaking on if he’ll have a basketball in his hands soon, he added:

“It won’t be long. A couple weeks. Gonna give him time to eat and realize he’s in our world.”

This guy is great on the court and now we know he’s pretty original with names, too.
