They are not the championship team they aspire to be as of now, but with some wins and better chemistry with one another, they could potentially get there. They are definitely a talented roster. But as Rob Pelinka once wisely said, all that talent without the proper mindset amounts to “jack s*it”.
Some have claimed that LeBron James has won his last title and that he’s done winning rings. This year will be an opportunity for LeBron James and the Lakers to prove their haters wrong. They have shown some flashes of being a cohesive team today, and championship-caliber teams aren’t built in a day. LeBron James is still playing at a high level, and he has two stars in Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook flanking him. It would be unwise to count them out prematurely.
