LeBron James Refuses To Respond To Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Calling Him Out For Instagram Post: “If You Saw The Post And You Read The Tag, You Know That I’m Literally, Honestly Asking ‘Help Me Out’.”

New York Post

LeBron James recently came under fire for his Instagram post where he posted the Spider-Man meme pointing at each other, all labeled with COVID-19, Flu, and Cold respectively. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar recently addressed James’ comments, slamming him for propagating misinformation.

And now, LeBron James has responded. In the post-game interview after LeBron’s incredible triple-double against the Rockets, James was asked about Kareem’s comments about his recent post. LeBron said that he would not address his comments, and clarified what his intentions were with the post.

“No, I don’t have a response to Kareem at all. And if you saw the post and you read the tag, you know that I’m literally, honestly asking, ‘help me out.’ We’re all trying to figure out COVID and the new strain. And the flu, I think people forgot about the flu”

Clearly, LeBron was not happy with Kareem’s comments about him and didn’t want to address them at all. And perhaps he is unhappy with the way the world reacted to the meme he posted. He felt as though he had to clarify his intentions and make sure that he wasn’t going to be misunderstood.

James had a great performance against the Rockets, and now leads the NBA when it comes to 30-point games. James has been one of the few consistently good performers for the Lakers this season. James has been great, but the Lakers have not played well around him.

The Lakers are not looking like the championship contender fans expected them to be, and going forward, they need to go on a spectacular run if they stand a chance to reach the NBA Finals. Given how competitive the Western Conference is this season, the Lakers have their work cut out for them, and will have to play their basketball from this point on.
