Paul Millsap is a veteran forward who last played for the Denver Nuggets. Millsap is a former All-Star from his days in Atlanta, and he was known for being a versatile defender who could also provide some scoring on the offensive end. While he is no longer the player he was in his prime, Millsap is still an extremely capable player in limited minutes, and he can provide some solid two-way play. He is certainly a player that would fit on a lot of contenders, as you can never have too much defense on a roster.

Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report has recently reported that there are 6 different teams that are interested in Paul Millsap. Among them are some contenders for next season such as the Atlanta Hawks and the Golden State Warriors. While Millsap has received interest from teams, it seems as though none of them are close to finalizing a deal with the former Nuggets forward.

Golden State has been the team most often linked by league sources to Paul Millsap, arguably the most consequential free agent left. Yet while the 36-year-old former All-Star has drawn interest from the Warriors, Hawks, Nets, Pelicans, 76ers and Timberwolves, no team sources contacted by Bleacher Report indicated any contract agreement with Millsap has come close to the finish line.

There’s no question that many teams in need of quality veterans could benefit from signing Millsap due to his experience and defensive abilities. Due to Paul Millsap being in the latter stages of his career, it is certainly easy to see him preferring to be on a contender, rather than playing with a young and inexperienced team. It remains to be seen which team he ends up on, but there is certainly no shortage of interest in Paul Millsap among NBA teams.
