Ben Simmons Fires Back At Fan Trolling His Shot: “Ya Lips Look Like Ya Got Stung By A Bee Nutty Professor A**”

2 Min Read

Ben Simmons isn’t taking anything from anyone. The Philadelphia 76ers player already took many hits after his poor performances against the Atlanta Hawks in the second round of the 2021 NBA playoff.

He struggled with free throws and field goals, leaving his team helpless against the inspired Trae Young. Following those bad performances, Ben vowed to get to the gym and work on his shooting skills, which seems to be the case. When the Australian player shared a series of pics of his summer, one fan tried to troll him, saying he looked like he would actually shoot the ball in one of the photos.

“He really acting like he was about to shoot in that second pic,” somebody wrote on Instagram.

Simmons didn’t appreciate this comment and fired back with a big one, calling the fan ‘Nutty Professor,’ like the character portrayed by Eddie Murphy in the movie with the same name.

“Ya lips look like ya got stung by a [bee] nutty professor ass,” Simmons wrote.

Ben has received plenty of criticism since that infamous series against the Hawks. Recent rumors suggest he has cut off every communication with the Sixers and is pushing to get traded, preferably to the Golden State Warriors.

The situation is tricky for him, but the point guard looks ready to leave the city of brotherly love after 5 years. It remains to be seen if his attempts to exit the franchise are successful. Still, everything points out that we saw the last of Simmons wearing a Sixers jersey.
