After spending the last two seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers, Carmelo Anthony is on his way to Los Angeles. The veteran player revitalized his career with good performances, demonstrating his NBA tenure is far from over.
Melo was linked with the Los Angeles Lakers for the past couple of years, with more people liking the possibility of Anthony joining forces with LeBron James. After all the speculation and rumors suggesting the purple and gold were actively working to complete this deal, Carmelo is finally teaming up with his long-time friend.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Anthony is signing a one-year deal with the 17x NBA champions, just like he did with the Trail Blazers in the past two seasons.
