The 2021 Jimmy Kimmel Live “Mean Tweets” NBA edition will feature some of the biggest stars/personalities in the NBA reading of Tweets that criticize them. There is no question that it is often humorous to see athletes react to hateful Tweets about themselves.

The People magazine has recently gotten a sneak preview of the show, which featured Khris Middleton, Shaquille O’Neal, and Trae Young. The video shared on the site features all three reading Tweets that criticized the way they looked. It looked as though they found it funny, and it doesn’t seem like they took the Tweets too personally.

Khris Middleton read off a Tweet that stated “Khris Middleton can chop down trees with his teeth”. The star then proceeded to smile wide at the camera, showing the teeth in question.

Shaquille O’Neal’s Tweet was about his bigger appearance, with its content being: “Shaquille O’Neal? More like Shaquille-Hasn’t-Missed-A-Meal”. Shaquille O’Neal laughed at the Tweet, and even stated that it was a “good one.”

The Tweet about Trae Young criticized his hair, with the user stating “I like Trae Young but his hair looks like a lollipop that got dropped on the carpet”. Trae Young found the insult humorous, and then jokingly asked “What flavor lollipop? I may be delicious.”

There is no doubt that the full edition of “Mean Tweets” will be even funnier, and it is certainly something to get excited about for NBA fans. While athletes receive a lot of hate overall, it seems as though they can still take things with a sense of humor.
