LeBron James’ latest titles were won with the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Los Angeles Lakers, but the team that LeBron James first won with was the Miami Heat. LeBron James is a Miami Heat legend, as he was a key reason the franchise managed to win the two titles they did during the big three era. If LeBron James ever wanted to return to the Miami Heat, there are surely few if any fans who would oppose that.

It looks as though Miami Heat president Pat Riley is of a similar mindset. During a recent appearance on The Dan Le Batard Show, Pat Riley has suggested that if LeBron James ever wanted to come back, he’d be welcome. (15:35)

I would leave the key under the doormat if he would call me and let me know he’s coming“I would do that, but I doubt very much…that key’s rusted now.

I wish him nothing but the best. And if he ever wanted to come back, then I’ll put a new shiny key under that mat.

A LeBron James reunion with the Miami Heat would be amazing for both the fans and the franchise. LeBron James is still playing at a very high level, and the fans would certainly welcome him back as a former legend. While the pathway to that happening is unclear currently, anything could happen in the NBA.
