This NBA season has been ravaged by injuries. Just this year alone, Kevin Durant, Joel Embiid, LeBron James, Anthony Davis, D’Angelo Russell, Klay Thompson, and CJ McCollum are among the biggest stars to miss time.
On Monday, yet another star went down: Nuggets guard Jamal Murray, who was helped off the court after suffering a no-contact knee injury.
Jamal Murray was helped off the court due to an apparent knee injury. Prayers up for Jamal Murray π

We don’t know the official diagnosis yet, so there is still hope it’s something minor. Still, by the looks of it, many are worried. On Twitter, people showed up in drones to express their support:

Oh God, No! @BeMore27 is down. Left knee. Could be hyperextended. Could be that heβs torn something. Prayers up that heβs okay. Please be okay. The game needs this guy. The @nuggets definitely need him. Praying heβs okay.

You just hate to see these career-altering injuries, especially for a player like Murray.
As for the Nuggets, they probably don’t stand much of a chance without him, so his potential absence this season could really shift the balance of power in the West.
Regardless, this will definitely be something to keep an eye on going forward, and we wish nothing but a quick and speedy recovery.
