The new millennium brought a lot of new things to the NBA, marked the start of different eras, and brought us the best basketball we’ve seen in 75 years. The NBA has been around for a while and things have been very interesting from the get-go. However, things got more entertaining after the 90s and 2000s arrived.

Things went a lot better for some teams and incredibly bad for others. The San Antonio Spurs and Los Angeles Lakers lead the way, with 32 and 29 playoffs series won, followed by the Miami Heat with 25. At the bottom of the list, we find the New York Knicks, who have won only one playoffs series in 21 years.

The New Yorkers are the worst team on the list, even surpassed by the Charlotte Hornets, New Orleans Pelicans, and Minnesota Timberwolves. The Knicks last won a playoffs series in 2012/13 when they beat the Boston Celtics in six games. They clashed with the Indiana Pacers next and the Paul George and co. took care of business.

The Spurs went to win multiple championships, four, while the Lakers added 6 and the Heat won 3. Other teams like the Golden State Warriors became a strong force in the league, dominating their conference and making it five consecutive times to the Finals, winning three titles, as well.

Other teams like the Celtics, Raptors, Pistons, Mavericks, and Cavaliers all won one title, having impressive runs to the championship, surprising everybody around the league. As for the Knickerbockers, things haven’t gone their way and even though they have a very promising group of players, their future doesn’t seem as bright as people within the organization want to believe.
