Kyle Lowry Fuels Trade Rumors After Selling His Toronto House For $5.12 Million

Kyle Lowry’s time with the Toronto Raptors appears to be coming to an end and the player is fueling rumors about a potential exit from the team with his recent activities off the court. The point guard, widely considered the greatest Raptor of all time, has made a big move for his future by selling his Toronto house.

Currently, in the last year of his contract, Lowry is expected to be traded before the deadline strikes next March 25 and after recent reports suggested teams like the Sixers, Clippers, and Heat are interested in acquiring his services, the player could be ready to end his tenure with the Canadian team.

Via The Star:

Kyle Lowry was asking $5.3 million for his Toronto home. This week, it sold firm for $5.12 million. That’s a shade less than the $5.25 million Lowry paid for the property in 2017, the same summer he signed the biggest deal of his career — a three-year contract worth $100 million to play point guard for Toronto’s NBA team.

The five-bedroom, 10-bathroom mansion is a dream home by plenty of measures. Estimated at 5,000 square feet, it features an elevator, remote window blinds, a gourmet kitchen, sauna, and backyard waterfall. A possible turn-off to would-be buyers: The property’s tree-covered yard, located just east of Bayview Avenue, backs onto Highway 401.

Nobody knows what’s going to happen with Kyle but all these situations only make fans more sure that the 2019 NBA champion will leave the team before his contract expires next July. He can be a great addition to any contender around the league but right now, it’s unclear where he’ll go next and what the Raptors will get in return for the talented player.
