LeBron James On Criticism From The Inside The NBA Crew: “They Sit Up There And They Shoot They Sh*t. They Say What They Say. They Don’t Hold Back, Especially Chuck. But You Respect It Because They Actually Put In The Work.”

LeBron James, just like other big names in the NBA, had a little participation in TNT’s “The Inside Story“, a four-part series that goes through the 30 years of existence of one of the most famous basketball shows, “Inside the NBA.” We already knew it was going to be really great to see the current crew talking about their experience on the show but they brought more people.

In fact, we could see LeBron James, Damian Lillard, Jimmy Butler, and Kyle Lowry also had the chance to talk about the four men that entertain NBA fans every day. They’ve been involved in controversies recently and that’s exactly what they talked about. LeBron said that nobody liked to be criticized by them given the way they say things.

“They sit up there and they shoot they sh-t. They say what they say,” James said. “You either respect it or not. They don’t hold back, especially Chuck. But you respect it because they actually put in the work.”

Dame also talked about them, explaining that the reactions from players are really different depending on what was said about them. When it’s something good, they feel well but when it’s bad, they try to ignore those comments as much as possible.

“It’s always interesting when you see Hall of Famers up there speaking about your game,” Lillard said. “When it’s negative, you’re like ‘man, I wish they didn’t say that about me’ and when it’s positive, you feel some sense of validation.”

Lowry said that he appreciates them for their comments, even though they tend to use a lot of bad words to talk about him.

“I get cursed out a lot from those guys, besides EJ and Kenny, Shaq and Chuck, too, I appreciate them because they’re Hall of Famers.”

Butler, just like James and Lillard, claimed that the crew says things players don’t like, but they won’t be trying to come up with stuff to get views.

“They say good things, then say things that I don’t like,” the Miami Heat star said. “It’s all truthful, I would tell you that.”

The show has been around for 30 years and it doesn’t seem like they will stop anytime soon. They have a lot of fans around the world, people pay attention to everything they say, and that won’t change, regardless of how wrong Shaq and Chuck’s takes are sometimes.
