The Los Angeles Lakers and Philadelphia 76ers engaged in a very entertaining battle on Wednesday night, in the first encounter of a duel that may well be the 2021 NBA Finals matchup. It was a game full of emotions that weren’t safe from controversies, showing what these two teams can do in the future.

Players from both teams talked about the match with the press and Anthony Davis issued a big warning to the Sixers after their first duel this season. This game saw the #1 team in the East against the #1 team in the West and they didn’t disappoint. AD talked with reporters, making it clear that the Lakers can beat this team in a potential NBA Finals.

Anthony Davis thinks the Lakers are "very capable" of beating the 76ers in a seven-game series if they meet them in the NBA Finals.

Philadelphia ended the Lakers’ 10-game unbeaten streak on the road with their 107-106 win last night. Doc Rivers and his pupils showed the purple and gold they’re real and even though the game was really close, the Sixers played great basketball at home.

The competition is hard for both teams this season in their respective squads but if they get past their most dangerous rivals, we’re ready to see what they will bring to the table in the playoffs. These teams are expected to compete after having very moved offseasons and their fans can’t wait to see them going at it.

Joel Embiid and LeBron James starred in a very controversial moment during the game and that has added more fuel to this matchup. AD is confident his team can beat the Sixers in a seven-game series, making things more interesting for everybody.
