It can be hard for ordinary fans to keep up with who’s on their team and who isn’t. For the Nets, especially, all the moves between last season and now certainly make it harder to remember the roster.

For one Twitter user, he found out his mistake the hard way after being hilariously called out by Spencer Dinwiddie himself, who was included in a graphic thanking him and other players for making the “big three” era possible…

Beyond excited for the new era of Brooklyn Nets basketball with Harden, Durant and Irving but know that all of this wouldn’t be possible without the Russell, Dinwiddie, LeVert and Allen era of Nets basketball pic.twitter.com/s77AAsVZVQ

Uhhhhhh I’m still on the team guys 😅

— Spencer Dinwiddie (@SDinwiddie_25) January 16, 2021

Guys like D’Angelo Russell, Caris LeVert, and Jarrett Allen were all included in trades that helped the Nets make their trio of superstars possible

Dinwiddie, obviously, was not part of those deals. Instead, his absence can be attributed to his knee injury early in the season in the season, which will keep him out for at least the rest of the year.

Funnily enough, he is actually Brooklyn’s best player outside of their core three. His name should definitely not be forgotten, as it’s very likely they’ll miss his production come the playoffs.
