Stephen Curry is getting ready for the new NBA season, regardless of when it will start, and he looks in great shape. The Golden State Warriors superstar knows this season is very important for him and his team and he’s trying to enter the season the best possible way to recover their throne as the NBA champions. Last season was a nightmare for the Warriors and this one is about revenge.

This week, a photo of Curry surfaced and the player looks absolutely jacked. He’s been putting to work ahead of the season and the results are very promising for the Warriors. Curry has never been a player known for lifting the weights, but he made sure to change that this offseason and now he looks more dangerous than before.

Some fans even joked that he wouldn’t need to shoot from 3 with that body; he was just going to bodied everybody in the paint and get the buckets. Curry is ready to take his team to compete again and everybody is waiting to see what they can do, including NBA commissioner Adam Silver, who tipped them to contend this year.

“I’m very confident that they’ll return to contention quickly. I look at the quality of their management. Of course, the quality of the players that are currently on their roster. I have no reason to believe they won’t be back as a top-tier team in the NBA,” Silver told the San Francisco Chronicle’s Connor Letourneau.

Curry averaged 20.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 6.6 assists while shooting 40.2 percent from the field, and 24.5 percent from beyond the arc in only five games during the 2019/20 season with the Dubs. Curry broke his games and missed most of the season; when he returned, he only played one game before the league was suspended after Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19.
