Even though the Lakers are on the verge of winning their 17th NBA title, LeBron James is staying focused on the prize, not getting too comfortable until he has completed the task. It wouldn’t be the first time we see a team returning from a 3-1 deficit, especially in this postseason. James knows the Heat are dangerous and he needs to finish everything as soon as possible, making it clear that he won’t rest until he’s won his fourth ring.
Following Game 4, Bron stated he’s not getting any rest in the nights since he’s focused on winning and not sleeping until he finally puts his hands on the Larry O’Brien trophy.
“We understand what’s at stake. The job is not done. We got an opportunity to get our bodies back up underneath with us, an actual day of rest. But also keep our mind sharp. I’m looking forward to once again, looking at the film again tomorrow. Do all around the clock treatment and treat it like we played o Thursday. I must continue to work in, I must continue to not sleep until the job is done. So looking forward to the next match.”

Bron wasn’t playing when he said that. He reportedly stayed up until 4.30 am after Game 1 victory and apparently, he’s been doing the same thing during the series. Several hours after Game 4, James sent a tweet showing his inability to sleep, confirming what he said during his post-game interview.

This man is on a mission and he won’t rest until he wins that longed-for title. He’s locked in and winning the championship will be the key to unlock his mind and get him all the hours of sleep that he’s missing during this series. Bron finished the game with 28 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists.
