Shaquille O’Neal Picks His Mount Rushmore Of Former Teammates

Shaquille O’Neal will always be revered as one of the greatest players to ever grab a basketball. As a 15x All-Star, 2x Scoring Champ, and 14x All-NBA Player, O’Neal proved his dominance time and time again while he was on the floor.

As a 4x Champion, he proved he was a winner.

But for all that O’Neal did and was throughout his tenure in the league, you’d be playing if you said it didn’t come without help.

From Kobe and Wade to Hardaway and even a young LeBron James, “The Diesel” has seen more than his fair share of superstar teammates. In an appearance on “The Danger Talk” podcast, Shaq revealed which he thought were the best…

It’s hard to argue against the first three names, but Horry’s placement above some others was a big talking point among fans. Horry was an important player for the Lakers during their title runs, but is he more deserving to make the “Mount Rushmore” cut than some of his other teammates — like LeBron and Karl Malone?

Many said no, but it should be noted that Shaq seems to favor guys who played with him for long stretches of time. Horry wasn’t an All-Star, but he was a very important and essential player for L.A., who consistently hit big shots for the club. The history with him and the rest of the three is just too much to ignore.

Needless to say, it’s an arguable topic, but Shaq is confident in his picks and it’s hard to say they haven’t rightfully earned the placement. Those four could go up against anyone in the league.
