Nets’ Garrett Temple Says James Harden And The Rockets Gave Them Tips On How To Beat The Bucks

2 Min Read

The Milwaukee Bucks have been the NBA’s best team nearly all season long. With Giannis, Khris Middleton, and a slew of talented players surrounding them, it’s easy to see why they’ve been so dominant.

But apparently James Harden has them all figured out. According to Nets guard Garrett Temple, Harden and the Rockets gave him and his team some pointers when they met at the pool on Monday night.

In case you don’t already know, Temple hit the game-winner for the Nets today, in their 119-116 win over the Bucks but, to Milwaukee’s credit, both Giannis and Middleton played just 15 minutes.

It is also true that the Nets and Rockets stay in the same hotel, so there’s no reason to believe Temple made his story up.

This is all coming just two nights after Harden and the Rockets beat the Bucks by four points on a night in which Harden and Westbrook combined for 55 points. Milwaukee is just 1-2 since the start of the Orlando bubble games.

So what does this all mean? Well, nothing yet. We’re just three games in and the playoffs haven’t even started yet. But if there really is a formula for defeating the Bucks, the Rockets may have just discovered it.

We’ll see soon enough if it will do them any good…
