LeBron James: ‘What More You Want From US?’

LeBron James has been one of the most active athletes fighting against racism in America. The Los Angeles Lakers forward has been very outspoken about racial injustice and he’s making more and more every day to help people improve their realities and environments.

The King has been posted messages supporting the Black Lives Matter movement, asking for justice for George Floyd and all the people who have suffered police brutality. Bron recently posted a message asking for equality on Instagram, asking what else people want from him and the black community in general.

He posted a selfie, captioning it with “What More You Want From US?!?!?! #Equality”.

Further, LeBron announced he’ll be launching a new group, aimed at protecting the voting rights of the African-American community, called “More Than A Vote”. James spoke to the New York Times over the phone on Wednesday. During the interview, he said:

“Because of everything that’s going on, people are finally starting to listen to us. We feel like we’re getting some ears and some attention, and this is the time for us to finally make a difference. We want to be beautiful once again.”James also explained the agenda of the group. “Yes, we want you to go out and vote, but we’re also going to give you the tutorial. We’re going to give you the background of how to vote and what they’re trying to do, the other side, to stop you from voting.”

LeBron has been raising his voice against racial injustice. He’s always trying to give back and this is another example of that.
