The Entire Banana Boat Crew Says Michael Jordan Is The GOAT

The Banana Boat Crew is a group of NBA players composed by LeBron James and three of his best friends, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, and Dwyane Wade. The bond between these players is deep, but not enough to secure Bron the title of GOAT.

Other than LeBron James, the rest of the players in the group believe that Michael Jordan is the greatest player of all time. The latest name to pick MJ as the GOAT is Carmelo Anthony, who praised Jordan and all the things he did but also asked why people couldn’t appreciate LeBron James as well since both players are great.

“MJ is the GOAT. He’s the greatest ever. We all know that and we all agree to that. Why can’t we say that, but also give LeBron his flowers while he’s here too? Why can’t we say, ‘M.J. was very great, LeBron is very great, Kobe is very great.’”

Before that, Dwyane Wade had revealed his favorite player ever, naming MJ, saying he is the GOAT and nobody else could come close to His Airness. Wade, a Chicago native, grew up idolizing Jordan and has huge admiration for the 6x NBA champion.

““Michael Jordan. I watched him win 6 titles. My biggest takeaway is the first one they won in ’91 Being a 9 year old kid, seeing the Chicago Bulls do that … that gave me the vision to say ‘Ok, that’s what I want to do for the rest of my life.’ That’s the feeling I want to bring to this city and my family,” he said.

Moreover, Chris Paul told a story of when he challenged MJ to make some shots or he’d had to get shoes to all the kids attending a camp. He revealed MJ was the GOAT, but he was wrong in that situation, as he didn’t miss any shots.

Even Bron’s friends are saying MJ is the greatest of all time. There isn’t much to do here. You can appreciate LeBron’s greatness, all the things he’s done for the game and his impact on basketball, but right now it looks like Jordan is unbeatable and will remain as GOAT for a long time.
