There are a lot of controversial topics to discuss in the NBA, and picking what players should be in the Hall of Fame and what shouldn’t is one of those sensitive subjects among NBA fans. For instance, Dwight Howard’s case for the Hall of Fame has been heavily discussed and debated, and you can say there are mixed reactions to this question.
Nick Young is one of those who believe DH12 belongs in the Hall of Fame, as he shared a curious anecdote on Twitter.
So I’m having this big debate I said Dwight Howard is for sure in the HOF and ppl was looking at me crazy saying I’m tripping… what y’all think

This has been a recurrent debate around the NBA community and sometimes people forget Howard has achieved plenty of things during his career. In fact, he is an 8 time NBA All-Star, a 5 time All-NBA First Team, 3 time NBA Defensive Player of the Year, 4 time NBA All-Defensive First Team, a 5 time NBA rebounding leader, and a 2 NBA blocks leader.
Moreover, during his 8 All-Star seasons, Howard averaged about 20 points a game, 13 rebounds a game, 1.5 assists, 2.5 blocks, 1 steal, and shot 60 percent from the field.
Although his career took a different path than we expected, Howard has a big case to make the HOF. Right now he has a big chance to win his first NBA ring with the Los Angeles Lakers. In that case, perhaps the majority of fans will start thinking differently about Superman Howard.
