Kobe Bryant: “That Clippers Team Is Well Put Together. Man, They Got Dogs That Aren’t Scared Of Nothing.”

As a Laker-lifer, we know where Kobe Bryant’s basketball loyalties lie. And while the Clippers were hardly relevant throughout his tenure in the NBA, it’s safe to they were considered his rivals in light of them sharing an arena.

So when Bryant recently called them “well put together,” we know it was genuine.

In a chat with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson on All The Smoke Podcast, he said this about the “other” L.A. team.

“That Clippers team is well put together. Man, they got dogs that aren’t scared of nothing.”

Indeed, Kobe Bryant’s words ring with truth. With guys like Patrick Beverley, Montrezl Harrell, and Lou Williams, they’ve got some serious roughriders in the lineup to go along with their core of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.

In the same video, Kobe admits that one of the L.A. teams will be coming out of the West. That logic is hard to argue against. With a combined win-loss record of 60-20, both teams are clearly poised for a long post-season run that will likely end with them having to go through each other.

Kobe is just tha latets in a long line of spectators to notice the dominance of L.A. this season.
