Russell Westbrook Throws Shade At Kevin Durant And The Warriors After Their Finals Win

It’s fair to say that even though former teammates Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook have been “broken up” for a while now, there’s no love lost between the pair.

With every successful season Durant has as a member of the Golden State Warriors, it must hurt Westbrook more and more as he realizes he’s stuck on a roster in OKC with an overpaid Carmelo Anthony, a Paul George that’s about to dip, and almost no chance of winning a championship as long as the Warriors are around.

Many thought that after the pair made up during the 2017 All-Star game, the two had come to peace with what KD did to Westbrook and OKC as a whole, but that seems far from the case due to the video Russ posted on Instagram after the Warriors’ 2018 title win.

Westbrook films himself rapping along to Ice Cube’s “No Vaseline”, which Ice Cube penned after leaving famous rap group N.W.A, dissing the other members. The most obvious line in the video is “Looking like straight bozos, I saw it coming, that’s why I went solo”, which is Westbrook’s way of calling the Golden State Warriors — specifically KD — bozos for teaming up in Golden State while he is perfectly fine running the show alone in Oklahoma City.

It seems as though — unless the unlikely occurs and Durant returns to pair up with Westbrook again later on down the road — Russ will be considering KD a bozo for the foreseeable future, especially if he re-ups and stays the course with the Warriors after he hits free agency this offseason.
