This is something you never want to see because of professional sports.
Understandably, Cleveland Cavalier fans weren’t too pleased with their team’s performance after Game 4 of the NBA Finals, as down 3-0, the Cavs pretty much gave up halfway through the third quarter, ensuring another Golden State Warriors title celebration inside Quicken Loans Arena.
But — allegedly, police are still investigating — a group of Cavalier fans took out their frustrations in the worst way possible, jumping and beating up a pair of Warrior fans walking through Cleveland after Game 4.

“It’s fun to have debates & share opinions about players, teams, games & sports but having a passion so deep for these billion dollar organizations & multi million dollar players that u hang out outside a game just to do some shit like this is wack.U gain nothing from the team in your city winning championships besides bragging rights & a false sense of pride.I didn’t even attend the parade in 2016 for the Cavs for that reason. It was cool they won but i gained nothing from them winning. Not even a sense of pride. The pics i saw kinda upset me a little tho because i couldn’t help but think “damn millions of ppl in the streets gathered together because a team won a game but when it’s some real shit that effects the lives of ppl in this city u won’t see 30 ppl.”Shit crazy. Imma continue to watch with my eyes & my mind. Stop letting these teams make u mad or even happy.”
As stated above, it’s unsure whether the group who attacked the Warriors fans were Cavalier fans upset with how the Finals went, or just a group of lowlifes using the Finals loss as a cover to cause trouble in Cleveland after Game 4.
Whatever the reason, this sort of behavior should not be tolerated at all, and no sports fan should be physically assaulted just because they support a team that beat you for the championship. Let’s all hope Cleveland police can find and put these guys behind bars.
