NBA 2K25 is set to make history by featuring the Stephen Curry Era in its MyNBA mode for the first time ever. This exciting addition allows players to step back in time to 2016 and relive or even rewrite the Golden State Warriors’ legendary run during one of the most dominant periods in NBA history.

The introduction of the Steph Era is a significant innovation in the MyNBA mode, offering fans the chance to control Curry and his superstar teammates—Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Kevin Durant—as they attempt to replicate or surpass their real-life accomplishments.

Players can choose to follow the Warriors’ historic path, which saw them revolutionize the game with their three-point shooting and win multiple championships, or they can create their own narrative by challenging this dynasty and testing their skills against one of the greatest teams ever assembled.

This new era joins an illustrious lineup in MyNBA, which already includes the Magic–Bird Era, Jordan Era, Kobe Era, LeBron Era, and the Modern Era. Each of these eras allows players to experience and shape the course of NBA history during some of its most iconic periods. The addition of the Steph Era solidifies Curry’s impact on the game, recognizing his role in changing how basketball is played and celebrated globally.

Alongside the Steph Era, NBA 2K25 also introduces a new and immersive MyGM mode for PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, offering a dynamic role-playing experience on new-generation consoles for the first time. This mode allows players to take on the role of a general manager, making crucial decisions that can lead their team to glory or disappointment.

With these innovations, NBA 2K25 continues to push the boundaries of sports gaming, providing fans with deeper and more engaging ways to connect with the game and its history. The inclusion of the Stephen Curry Era marks a new milestone in the franchise, celebrating one of the most transformative players in NBA history.

Stephen Curry Lands Best 3-Point Rating On NBA 2K25

Stephen Curry has once again solidified his status as the NBA’s premier sharpshooter, earning the highest 3-point rating in NBA 2K25 with a perfect 99. This announcement, made as part of the game’s highly anticipated player ratings reveal, underscores Curry’s unmatched ability from beyond the arc, a skill that has defined his illustrious career and transformed the game of basketball.

Curry’s 99 rating comes as no surprise to fans and analysts alike. At 36, the Golden State Warriors’ superstar continues to dominate from long range, averaging 4.8 made three-pointers per game on 40.8% shooting last season. His shooting versatility—whether pulling up from deep, navigating screens, or creating his own shot off the dribble—remains unparalleled, further cementing his legacy as the greatest shooter in NBA history.

Joining Curry in the top five are some of the league’s most lethal shooters. Grayson Allen, who had a breakout shooting season, comes in second with a 92 rating. Allen’s remarkable efficiency, bolstered by the offensive threats of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal on the Phoenix Suns, saw him knock down 2.7 threes per game on an incredible 46.1% shooting.

Kevin Durant, Curry’s former teammate, also earns a 92 rating. Durant’s ability to score from anywhere on the floor, including from beyond the arc, keeps him among the top shooters, despite not being a high-volume three-point specialist. His precision and clutch shooting make him a constant threat.

Klay Thompson, long regarded as one of the best shooters in NBA history, rounds out the top five with an 89 rating. While Thompson is coming off a challenging season where he posted the worst shooting numbers of his career (3.5 threes per game on 38.7% shooting), his legacy as an elite marksman still earns him a place among the best. Now with the Dallas Mavericks, Thompson will look to rebound and prove that he remains one of the NBA’s top shooters.

Mike Conley, often flying under the radar, also makes the list with an 88 rating. His consistent shooting (2.4 made threes per game on 44.2% shooting) has been crucial for the Minnesota Timberwolves, especially in complementing the team’s interior-focused offense.

Curry’s perfect rating in NBA 2K25 is a testament to his enduring greatness and the standard he continues to set for shooters in the NBA.
