Lonzo Ball recently shared a memorable trash-talking encounter with Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green on his podcast, ‘The WAE Show.’ Known for his outspoken nature, Green left a significant impression on Ball during an intense game moment.

“I was already in a mode, you know. When I tapped in, I had scored on somebody. I was like, ‘too little’ type, and then Draymond like, ‘You not like that.’ I’m like, ‘You not like what?'”

“I would say Draymond is probably the most I ever got to like. I don’t talk unless you’re going to talk to me.”

“You ain't like that.”

Green’s remark struck a nerve with Ball, igniting a competitive fire within him. The exchange continued throughout the game, with both players engaging in verbal jabs. Ball highlighted this moment as one of the most significant trash-talking encounters of his NBA career.

Currently, Ball is in recovery after undergoing knee surgery, aiming to return to top form and play on opening night for the Bulls. His encounter with Green remains a testament to the intensity and competitive nature that defines his approach to the game. Whether he can regain his previous form remains to be seen, but his resilience and determination continue to be focal points of his career.

Lonzo Ball On How LeBron James Schooled Him

Lonzo Ball recently shared a memorable story about his time with LeBron James during his stint with the Los Angeles Lakers. Speaking on ‘The WAE Show,’ Ball recalled an unforgettable practice session that solidified his ‘welcome to the NBA’ moment.

Ball’s tenure with the Lakers was brief but eventful. Drafted as the second overall pick in 2017, he entered the league with high expectations. His rookie season showcased his potential, averaging 10.0 points, 6.4 assists, and 1.6 steals per game. However, it was during his second season, with LeBron James joining the Lakers, that he had a defining experience.

LeBron’s performance in that practice highlighted his extraordinary talent and work ethic, even in his mid-30s. Despite being one of the most scrutinized and celebrated players in NBA history, LeBron continued to demonstrate why he is considered one of the greatest. His ability to take over a practice session and outperform his younger teammates was a testament to his enduring skill and competitive spirit.

For Ball, this moment was both humbling and eye-opening. It underscored the level of excellence required to succeed at the highest levels of the NBA. While Ball’s career has taken him from the Lakers to the New Orleans Pelicans and now the Chicago Bulls, the lessons learned from playing alongside a legend like LeBron James have undoubtedly shaped his approach to the game.

As Ball continues to recover from injury and aims to return to top form with the Bulls, the experience of being schooled by LeBron remains a vivid reminder of the greatness that exists in the NBA and the relentless drive needed to compete with the best.
