James and Curry gave their post-game interview after Team USA’s 86-72 win over Canada together, with James openly discussing how it felt like to play alongside Curry.
“Just two guys who love to play the game of basketball and we try to share it with each other. I missed him in the first half on a wide-open three that I threw out of bounds, but he was able to connect with me for the lob. It’s fun. Curry was smiling and quite literally jumping for joy when LeBron was talking about their connection on the court. The pair clearly have chemistry, but Curry has rebuffed attempts by James to recruit him in the past. With Steph casting doubt over his future as a Golden State Warrior, plenty of Laker fans will get excited at seeing James and Curry bond over Team USA.
Curry scored 11 points on three made 3-pointers during USA’s win over Canada while LeBron had a complete performance with seven points, five rebounds, three assists, three steals, and one block.
