Irving added that he has experienced good weather in Dallas, as compared to the cities in the North East where he spent much of his career, and that has helped his mental health greatly. He suggested that his family is happy in Dallas, which in turn, has caused him great happiness.
“It’s good to breathe fresh air, get outside. Seasonal depression is real when you’re growing up up north. I spent 12 years in the Eastern Conference in three cold cities that deal with four seasons, so you come out here and you’re able to get outside and ground yourself a little bit more and spend some time with your family, watch your kids run outside. Wife’s happy. You know what they say about a happy wife … happy life.”

Irving has played spectacular basketball during the playoffs, averaging 22.8 points, 5.2 assists, and 3.9 rebounds. He and Luka Doncic have proven themselves to be the best duo in the playoffs this year. But their main goal was and still is to win the NBA championship. And they will have to do so by defeating a formidable Celtics team.
