Zion Williamson’s Priceless Reaction When Asked How He’d Celebrate Winning The In-Season Tournament

After securing a win against the Sacramento Kings on Monday, the New Orleans Pelicans are set to compete in the final stages of the in-season tournament. And while a total victory is still several steps away for Zion and the crew, it didn’t stop the media from asking what his plans are if the Pels win the whole thing. Hilariously, Williamson didn’t respond with an answer but instead burst out laughing as Ingram promised a good time.

The knockout rounds will conclude in Las Vegas this week and will make the perfect party scene for whichever team ends up with the win. Currently, the tournament comes down to four teams: the Lakers, Bucks, Pacers, and Pelicans, who will be fighting for the grand prize of $500,000 for every player and coach. Zion and Ingram seem to already have some plans in place for how they will spend the money and there’s a good chance that they celebrate hard if they are able to win the tournament.

NBA Fans Troll Zion Williamson

We shouldn’t expect either player to open up about their celebration plans, but it can get pretty wild in Las Vegas and one can only imagine the kind of things that a millionaire can do in the city. For a guy like Zion, who is notorious for his eating habits and wild nightlife, fans had no problem trying to picture what his celebration would look like.

We all know how Zion would celebrate 🤣

Zion has a bit of a shady past and some fans weren’t surprised to see this clip of him and Ingram laughing cryptically. As a guy who is known for getting loose and having a good time, you already know that Zion is going to have some fun in Las Vegas whether he wins or not.

Of course, we will never know what Zion was thinking in that moment but this is surely one clip that we will see a lot over the next few weeks, especially if the Pelicans end up winning the tournament.

The next set of in-season games will take place tomorrow. Shortly after the Bucks vs. Pacers game ends, the Pelicans will begin their showdown against the Lakers and I’d be lying if I said they weren’t underdogs coming in. But with Williamson and Ingram in tow, the Pels certainly have a chance and only a fool would count them out.

Zion Williamson And Moriah Mills Drama

The situation with Zion right now is especially sensitive given his history with adult film star Moriah Mills. Back in June of this year, Mills accused Williamson of cheating on her with his current baby mama while also claiming that he harassed and threatened her over the phone. In the weeks that followed, he went nuclear on the accusations, pulling out receipts and showing personal DMs that they exchanged. In her craziest move, she got herself suspended on X after threatening to leak their sex tapes on the platform.

Needless to say, Zion’s been mixed up into some crazy stuff over the years and it has become a major distraction for his career. But as he deals with the fallout from his weight struggles, the Mills accusations, and his underwhelming career, earning a win for the first-ever in-season tournament is a good way to change the narrative and he clearly doesn’t want to waste the opportunity.
