In the aftermath of Phoenix’s 131-128 win over the Utah Jazz on Friday, Devin Booker dug deep into the internet archives to respond to a post by his former teammate Kevin Durant. Dating back to 2010, the now-infamous message involves Durant admitting to “waking up in the middle of the night” to think about a woman he liked. Apparently, Booker was feeling similar vibes on Friday night and he wanted the whole world to know.

Booker did not reveal what girl has him sitting at the edge of his bed at night, but as an NBA superstar, multi-millionaire, and fan-favorite athlete, there could be multiple women that are “haunting” his dreams. Funnily enough, just a few hours after Booker’s comment, Durant made a follow-up message on X, indicating that the experience he had in 2010 is still very much active today.

Interestingly, both Devin Booker and Kevin Durant are living a single life. While Durant has been going solo for most of his career, Booker has been linked to some high-level celebrities in the past, including Jordyn Woods and Kendall Jenner. Now, all the guys have is each other and that seems to be more than enough to keep them going for now…

The Best Duo In The League

The dynamic between Kevin Durant and Devin Booker is truly exceptional. While they are both superstars to the highest degree, they are also really tight friends and have developed an even closer bond since coming together in Phoenix. According to Booker, Durant is his favorite player of all time and he used to sleep with his poster on the wall every night growing up. Obviously, this relationship has been mutually advantageous so far, as the stars are thriving both on and off the court.

Despite not even having a full season together, the chemistry between Booker and Kevin is already top-tier. To date, the pair have scored 30 points in the same game six times as teammates and are combining to average over 60 points per game this season. At 6-6 on the season, the Suns still have a long way to go before anyone considers them the favorites in the Conference but you have to respect their chances just based on talent alone. If they can stay healthy this season, and into the playoffs, Durant and Booker will elevate the Suns to new heights in the West.

Sluggish Start In Phoenix

While everything is smooth on the Durant/Booker front, this season has not gone according to plan for the franchise. After breaking the bank and mortgaging their future to build a borderline superteam, the Suns were hoping to separate themselves as a top-flight contender in the West. So far, through 12 games, that just hasn’t been the case. Thanks to injuries to both Booker and Bradley Beal, the Suns’ core stars have yet to see the court together and it could be months before we see the three of them in action.

To make matters even worse, the supporting cast has been pretty mediocre to start the season. New arrivals like Jusuf Nurkic, Eric Gordon, and Grayson Allen have been shaky so far and it has exposed the lack of depth on the roster. The truth is, for a team as top-heavy as the Suns are right now, they will need everything from Durant, Booker, and Beal. And unless those guys are healthy at their best come playoff time, the Suns will never meet their expectations this season.
