A clip of Draymond Green learning Chinese is going viral as fans make fun of Green and claim he's preparing for his post-NBA career.

Draymond Green was dabbling into his multicultural side and was speaking in Chinese for a Warriors’ social media post. Given the popularity of the game in China, Green was likely completing a marketing commitment. But NBA fans have brutally mocked Draymond for speaking in Chinese.

The big internet joke around this is that poorly performing players are often mocked by fans, claiming they should leave the NBA and play in China. Draymond, given his poor box score stats and streaky offensive games, is going to be a massive target for fans with a clip like this.

It’s likely going to keep appearing throughout the season, as fans will use the clip to mock Green every time he plays poorly.

Fans Are Already Having A Blast With This Video

Fans on social media are already hard at work, finding ways to make fun of the one-time Defensive Player of the Year winner. But first, a fan predicted the way this clip will be used throughout the season after a poor Draymond game.

PLEASE DONT LET DRAYMOND HAVE A BAD GAME

Some fans seemed genuinely excited for Green to have a bad game so this clip can be used.

The memes after his first bad game will be generational

Fans understand they just got a clip which will be a meme for years to come.

The meme potential in this is scary.

One fan used a picture of Adam Silver with ‘get ready to learn Chinese, buddy’ written on it, furthering the joke of washed NBA players going to China.

A fan pulled up a clip of Draymond speaking in Japan from last year’s preseason games.

Fans were shocked that this was even posted knowing how NBA fans on social media use clips like this.

He's done for

One fan already used this format in a clever way to comment on a current situation, using the clip to mock Kai Jones’ recent trade request.

NBA players go through far worse forms of social media bullying than players telling them to go to China after a poor game. Green will likely be unbothered that this clip is generating the reaction it is, but fans should brace for a season filled with this clip being used to comment on any struggling NBA players.

This may end up replacing the video of Shaquille O’Neal yelling ‘ni hao’, as Green is a current player whose numbers often open him up to slander.

Draymond Green Wants To Win A Title For Chris Paul

The Warriors have a very small window of contention left, with many suggesting it may have already shut. But the team has brought in multiple NBA veterans this summer, most noteworthy being Chris Paul. Paul was a rival of the Warriors for years and is still waiting for his first NBA Championship, something Draymond Green wants to bring the legendary point guard this season.

“I look at this as one of the most important years of my career. … It’s not to redeem anything about Draymond. My goal is that we can help Chris Paul get his first championship.”

Even though Green didn’t want Paul on the roster, given their professional rivalry, the teammates will do everything they can to win a title this season. Green is entering the season with questionable status due to a left ankle sprain. He’s been sitting out of preseason games as Klay Thompson fills in as the power forward for the Warriors in the short term.
