“I didn’t want to be,” Wade said when asked why they had teamed up on this particular endeavor.

“The need. It’s about the need. I did not want to work with my wife in this capacity. Listen, she be on me, “Did you look at this email? Did you return this email?”. You know what I mean? We’ve got different processes.”

Running a business requires a lot of focus and accountability, and that can be bad for a romantic relationship. Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union are both successful in their own right though, so they must believe they can make it work.

Dwyane Wade And Gabrielle Union: Individual Net Worths

Dwyane Wade is one of the greatest NBA players of all time, a 3-time champion, Finals MVP, and 13-time All-Star. He earned $196 million in just NBA salary during his career, predominantly with the Miami Heat.

Dwyane Wade has managed to grow his net worth despite living a luxury lifestyle for the last two decades. He is worth $170 million and has a minority ownership stake in the Utah Jazz. The man knows business and is sure to succeed in this endeavor too.

Gabrielle Union is a successful actress in her own right. The 50-year-old got her break with the teen movie Bring It On in 2000 and has since been in successful projects like Deliver Us From Eva, Think Like A Man, and Almost Christmas.

Her success has seen Union garner a net worth of $40 million, which is modest while compared to Dwyane Wade but still makes her incredibly wealthy in her own right. This new brand is bound to find success with the power couple working together on it.

Dwyane Wade And Gabrielle Union Are The Perfect Couple

Despite having had their ups and downs, Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union have managed to share a beautiful relationship. They are co-parents to Wade’s three children from other women and have a daughter of their own, too.

Having a high-profile relationship means they’ve had to deal with their problems almost publicly. Dwyane Wade recently opened up about having to tell Gabrielle Union that he was having a child with another woman when they were together.

Despite this, they have been excellent parents, supporting Zaya Wade through all the hate thrown her way on social media. They have both become fashion icons, too, lighting up the Met Gala and other events together.

Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union are widely loved by fans and considered a power couple. Their new brand, Proudly, is sure to do well despite Wade’s initial apprehensions about working alongside his wife.
