Though Tyrese Maxey scoring more will obviously be beneficial, the key thing that Maxey will need to focus on if James Harden leaves is his facilitation. He will be asked to run the offense a lot more, and will obviously have the ball a lot more in his hands.

Though he is eligible for an extension right now, that has obviously been put on hold due to the James Harden situation.
