Stephen Curry has been having a whole lot of fun this off-season. The Golden State Warriors superstar has been dominating in another sport, as he is leading the standings at the American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament.
He showed off his shooting skills a few days back by casually drilling a shot that would have been well beyond the three-point line on his first try. That was too easy for him, so he tried something harder on Friday, a no-look shot, and he nearly made it too.

That was really close to going in and it would have sent the crowd into a frenzy had it swished. If that was anyone else, you probably wouldn’t have given them even a chance at making it, but with Curry, you were somewhat expecting it to go in, which speaks to his greatness.
As for just how dominant Curry has been at the tournament, he has a four-point lead at the top with 27 points. Charles Barkley has also taken part but to say he and Curry have had contrasting fortunes might be an understatement, as Barkley finds himself down at 79th with a score of -8.
Stephen Curry Spoke About The Warriors’ Roster For The Upcoming Season
Curry was asked about the upcoming season at this celebrity tournament, and he seemed to be pretty happy with the moves the Warriors have made. He thinks adding Chris Paul and some more veterans means their roster is making more sense now than it did previously.
By trading for Paul, Golden State somewhat ditched their two-timeline setup and focused just on the present, to win now. Curry is still playing at a very high level, with averages of 29.4 PPG, 6.1 RPG, 6.3 APG, 0.9 SPG, and 0.4 BPG last season, and they need to surround him with players who can contribute to winning right away. The hope is that Paul and the other veterans can do just that, as the Warriors look to win their fifth title in 10 seasons.
