Love him or hate him, you have to respect what Jamal Murray did in these playoffs. During the Finals alone, he averaged 27.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 6.8 assists on 59.8% true shooting.
Even still, is he really better than Steph Curry, Damian Lillard, and Luka Doncic? Most would say no, especially considering that Murray isn’t even the next player on his won’t team. He’s perfect for the Nuggets, and he really is the ideal fit next to Nikola Jokic.

No matter where you rank Jamal among the best guards in the league, you can not deny that he was effective in this postseason. As an elite scorer, ball handler, and playmaker, Murray stepped up for the Nuggets throughout the playoffs and his performance did not go unnoticed.

And when I saw that I thought it was very interesting because Jamal Murray is a very good player… but the reason you’re not getting respect is because people don’t think you are consistently doing it,” said Draymond Green. “Jamal Murray has completely changed that in these playoffs.”
