Nikola Jokic’s journey to the NBA is an incredible story, as he was never considered a future superstar in the league and had to work hard to earn his spot on the Nuggets and then in the league.

Jokic found the right people along the way, including his agent, who recently revealed that he never watched the Joker play before signing him.

“I’m the guy who believes in systems, in projections, analysis,” Misko Raznatovic told Matt Barnes on All the Smoke. “And I don’t know why, but I told [the scout], ‘I want to sign this guy.’ … This is the first and last player in the 27-year-old history of the agency that that we signed him without anybody seeing him.”

This was a big gamble, as Jokic could end up being a total failure, and Mr. Raznatovic would probably lose his job. Fortunately, things panned out very well for the Serbian player, who went from playing in the Adriatic and Serbia League to becoming one of the biggest figures in the NBA right now.

It wasn’t easy, but Jokic overcame bad situations to be where he is right now. The Denver Nuggets, just like his agent, bet on him, and Jokic didn’t disappoint. He’s now a two-time NBA MVP award winner and is set to win his first NBA championship soon.

Nikola Jokic Is The Best Player In The World Right Now

After eight years in the league, Nikola Jokic has earned his respect. Even when he won two consecutive MVP awards, many fans and analysts didn’t think he was that good. Jokic recorded another MVP-caliber season and didn’t win the award, but he’s taken his game to the next level in the postseason, going turning a lot of heads to him.

Right now is hard to make an argument against Jokic being the best player in the world and a championship would cement his legacy as one of the biggest stars of this generation.
