The Boston Celtics did what many people thought was inconceivable; force a Game 7 after being 3-0 down in the Eastern Conference Finals. The Celtics will play yet another Game 7, in front of their own fans. Celtics fans will be thrilled, but the same can’t be said for Lakers fans.

Los Angeles Lakers fans on Reddit reacted to the Celtics beating the Heat to force a Game 7 in the Eastern Conference Finals. As their biggest rivals, Lakers fans were far from thrilled about the prospect of seeing the Celtics win Game 7 and compete for their 18th NBA championship.

Lakers fans will of course be upset about Boston winning Game 6 against the Heat. Laker Nation will be watching Game 7 with bated breath, hoping for Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat to win Game 7 and keep the Celtics from the NBA Finals. This Celtics’ comeback is only exacerbated by the fact that the Lakers were humiliatingly swept by the Denver Nuggets, thus missing out on the NBA Finals.

Miami Heat Will Have A Tough Challenge In Boston

The Miami Heat will now have to face Boston in a Game 7. The Celtics actually have some experience in Game 7s, as they won an incredible Game 7 in their second-round series against the Philadelphia 76ers, with Jayson Tatum putting on a 51-point performance.

The Miami Heat seem to be confident despite losing three games in a row to the Boston Celtics. Jimmy Butler spoke after Game 6 and guaranteed a win for the Miami Heat going into Game 7. Winning a Game 7 away from home is not easy at all. Butler and the Heat will have to put on a performance of a lifetime in the TD Garden if they want to reach the NBA Finals.
