Ja Morant is currently amidst a lot of trouble due to his recent gun-flashing incident on Instagram. Morant has been suspended since then and currently awaits punishment for his actions by the NBA.
Ja is undoubtedly in a dark place right now and his recent Instagram stories made everyone pretty concerned about the Grizzlies superstar. He posted a bunch of disturbing Instagram stories, seemingly saying goodbye to everyone. NBA analyst Stephen A. Smith shared his views on Ja’s actions and claimed that the NBA and a few of his ex-teammates are extremely concerned about Morant.
“I called the NBA league office. They had no idea what was going on,” Smith said. “They appeared and sounded a little fearful. It’s a few players throughout the league that I contacted. They were uncomfortable. A couple of ex-teammates of his, who used to be on the Memphis Grizzlies that, know a thing or two about Ja Morant — his habits, the company he keeps, the pressures that lie on his shoulders — they were concerned. And evidently, so were the police.”

The disturbing Instagram stories have been deleted by Ja Morant. But it goes without saying that the entire NBA community is concerned about his mental health. After all, he is still just a 23-year-old kid.
Ja Morant Cleared The Air About His Instagram Stories
Stephen A. Smith, among others, may have tried to find the meaning behind Morant’s Instagram stories, but they found no success.
Fortunately, there was nothing concerning about Morant’s mysterious stories. The Memphis Grizzlies superstar is just taking a break from social media.
“A spokesperson for the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office said cops went to the NBA star’s home in Tennessee shortly after Morant shared the concerning messages on his Instagram page … and they say he told them simply ‘that he is taking a break from social media.'”
It’s good to hear that Ja Morant is fine and not taking a step in the wrong direction. Hopefully, this break from social media can help him in getting back his focus and dedication to playing the game of basketball.
