Draymond Green is an extremely accomplished person and a basketball player, there is no doubting that. You don’t become the defensive anchor of a dynasty without bringing immense value to the table.

After a lot of recent trolling because of the Warriors’ second-round elimination and his friendship with LeBron James, Green felt compelled to address his haters on Twitter.

A lot of you dudes be real disrespectful in these comments. FAN BOYS. However, I think it really bother y’all that I’m the PLAYER that I am and the VOICE that I am. I get it… it’s tough to wrap your mind around it. But just accept it. I’m humbly ELITE at both 🤷🏿‍♂️

Green is a multi-millionaire NBA player who will go down as one of its finest defensive players. Not only that, he’s already establishing a post-retirement career as an analyst and possibly even a coach in the league. There has to be some level of elite involved for a player to be as regarded around the league as Draymond.

Draymond Green’s Future In Golden State

Draymond Green could be a free agent this summer if he opts out of his $27.5 million option. It looks like no other team in the league will be offering him a contract of that value this summer, so he will likely spend another season in Golden State. Next season will also be the final year on Klay Thompson’s contract, earning the star shooting guard xx next season.

After a second-round exit and tangible proof that the dynasty is waning with playoff elimination for the first time since 2014, the future of the dynastic core has been in question. GM Bob Myers is likely on his way out, as the architect of this title-winning juggernaut, the pieces may soon be fading away from the team.

Green could be a lifelong Warrior, but it completely depends on the dollar value of his next contract extension and whether he’ll be willing to accept whatever contract the Warriors can offer, given the new CBA rules ruining their ability to build a championship-caliber team while way over the luxury tax.
