The Los Angeles Lakers will face off against the Golden State Warriors in a pivotal Game 6 this evening. There’s a good amount of pressure on both teams to win, and this is a crucial series for superstars LeBron James and Stephen Curry in terms of their respective legacies in the game.

Former Laker Lamar Odom has recently predicted that the Los Angeles Lakers will win Game 6, also guessing that it would be a blowout in their favor. He also joked that he’s already had multiple strokes and heart attacks and doesn’t need another one watching the game.

“We need LeBron James like God James coming out, killing. Lakers in a blowout… I’m going by 10… I’ve already had 12 strokes and 6 heart attacks, I don’t need another stroke or heart attack.”

The Los Angeles Lakers will be in their home court at Crypto.com Arena, and many expect them to close things out and avoid a Game 7 scenario where they have to go back to San Francisco. Of course, the Warriors are a tough team to beat, but with LeBron James, anything is possible for the Los Angeles Lakers. He is 17-0 after taking a 3-1 series lead, and we’ll see if he can remain undefeated by closing out this series in Game 6.

LeBron James And Stephen Curry’s Rivalry Is Legendary

Among this generation of players, there are none who have accomplished more than Stephen Curry and LeBron James. This series is just another episode in their rivalry, and Kevin Garnett has previously stated that, as fans, we should all sit back and watch the two legends hoop against one another.

“I think we need to sit back and appreciate that we’re watching two of the greatest play, and their teams play,” Garnett said. “It’s nice to see these two, these two dynamics go against each other. When we sit back and watch these two, they would have either won or stood in each other’s way of winning. And that’s how I look at it. The things LeBron has accomplished and affected the game from a cultural standpoint, from people wanting to be like, play like, style of play, taking away from other styles, coming into a whole new generation.

“Then have it taken from you. Like, now it’s a Steph Curry age, where everybody wants to shoot the ball from distance and have accuracy. And you’re being measured off of that. You know, great point guard play now is about how far you can shoot it out and how consistent you can do that. But Steph Curry has changed the culture and how we see basketball and it’s dope to see these two generational talents kind of go at it.”

This is definitely one of the best series in the playoffs, and a lot of fans want it to go seven games for the entertainment factor. However, it is quite possible that this is the last time we’ll see LeBron James and Stephen Curry face off this season, and we’ll see how tonight goes.
