LeBron James and Stephen Curry are two of the greatest players of this generation. Obviously, they wouldn’t have reached their current levels without training hard in practice.
But is there a difference in the way the two superstars train? Well, Quinn Cook, who has played with both players, revealed that in an interview with FanDuel.
“I’ve never seen anybody work as fast as hard as Steph when I got to Golden State,” Cook said. “Just his attention to detail. He might not be on the court for an hour or two hours. He’s not probably going to come in at night. But that 45 minutes on the court are special.”
Cook added about LeBron: “And LeBron. If we have practice at 10 o’clock, he’s in the weight room getting work done at 7:30. If we have a game at 7, he’s getting to the arena at 2. He’s on a different level.”

It’s obvious that LeBron and Steph go about differently when it comes to practicing habits. But is one way better than the other? Most likely not.
Since both superstars are well into their 30s and still playing at an elite level. As of now, James and Curry’s teams have locked horns in the Western Conference Semifinals, with the former’s team holding a 3-1 lead over the latter.

LeBron James has spent the majority of his career as the primary ball-handler for his teams. But for the 2022-23 Los Angeles Lakers, the King has seemingly taken a backseat in the playoffs.
He has been more active off the ball, and it is certainly confusing the Warriors. So much so that Stephen Curry is unable to figure out how to face off vs. this new version of James.
“Steph said to me, ‘Yo, I’m trying to figure Bron out.’ After not taking a shot through most of the first half, he end up getting it going with 21, 8, and 8,” Draymond Green said. “You know, it was big, really big. He hit some big shots, some timely shots.”
Even after spending 20 years in the league, LeBron James always seems to find a way to outplay his opponents. This year, he is doing so by simply doing the bare minimum required.
Despite that, James is still averaging 23.3 PPG, 8.8 RPG, 5.3 APG, 0.3 SPG, 1.3 BPG vs. the Warriors in the Western Conference Semifinals.
