The Phoenix Suns were recently defeated by the Denver Nuggets in Game 5, with a final score of 102-118. The Nuggets absolutely dominated them, and it looked as though the team had no answer for center Nikola Jokic.
After the game, a lot of fans reacted to the Suns getting obliterated. One fan suggested that perhaps the expectations from fans are too high for superstar Kevin Durant.

The Suns can only win if Booker and KD score like 35 each. This isn’t a winning formula for a championship. They both talented obviously, but the rest of the roster depth is glaring. Still a 3-2 series and anything can happen, but I think it’s over

It is clear that the Phoenix Suns will have to do better if they are to win this series against the Denver Nuggets. They both had poor overall performances, and it is clear that the team cannot withstand them having off nights whatsoever.
Hopefully, we see the Phoenix Suns figure things out. They absolutely need to win Game 6 on their home court, and the key will be trying to limit Nikola Jokic by whatever means necessary. With that being said, this is easier said than done, and we’ll see what happens in the future.
