Stephen Curry is all set to take on the Los Angeles Lakers for Game 3 where the action shifts to the Crypto.com Arena.

The sharpshooter, walking back to the locker room after the Warriors’ blowout 127-100 win against LA expressed his thoughts on the upcoming game. “Back in the series…” he said. “All we could do was win one, and now we gotta take on the road like we always do, so looking forward to it. Let’s go.”

Curry had 20 points and 12 assists in Game 2, while Klay Thompson led the scoring charts with 30 points. The Warriors had to make a last-minute change after Kevon Looney was not feeling well. Steve Kerr inserted JaMychal Green into the lineup, and the move paid dividends as the forward chipped in with 15 points.

For the Lakers, LeBron James led from the front with 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists. Rui Hachimura continued his solid playoff run by coming off the bench and pouring in 21 points and 5 boards. Anthony Davis’ inconsistencies were laid bare after he finished with just 11 points and 7 rebounds.

Anthony Davis Gives Stephen Curry The Ultimate Tribute

Compared to the intense fireworks that both the Warriors and the Lakers faced against the Sacramento Kings and the Memphis Grizzlies, respectively, there seems to be more camaraderie in the second round.

One prime example was Davis’s lavish in his praise for Curry after the Lakers’ Game 1 win. “As long as he’s on the other side, it’s not over,” he said. “I remember we were up 20 in New Orleans… He went on a run, the whole team obviously, but he’s the head of the snake, and when he’s playing unbelievable basketball. … Their team just never goes away.”

Curry has been in pristine form in the playoffs averaging 31.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 5.4 assists in the nine games he’s played so far. And should he continue that level of production, the Lakers will have their work cut out for them for the remainder of the series.
