LeBron James has had more teammates than most people can count over the course of his 20-year NBA career, and many of them are championship teammates.

James linked up with Quinn Cook, who was on the 2020 Lakers’ championship squad before Game 2 against the Warriors.

Cook is not only a former champion with the Lakers but also with the Golden State Warriors in 2018. He has been out of the league since last playing on a 10-day contract for the Cleveland Cavaliers in March 2021. He last played professionally in China.

James still remembered the handshake he used to have with Cook, which goes to show how much LBJ ends up valuing the teammates he has in his career.

A Game 2 Struggle For The Lakers

The Lakers are trailing the Warriors 56-67 at the end of the first half after a rough offensive night from most of the players on the roster not named LeBron James or Rui Hachimura. James has 21 points in the first half, the 97th time in his career that he has 20 points or more at the end of the first half of a playoff game.

Stephen Curry is putting on a playmaking clinic and empowering his teammates to take the right shots. Klay Thompson is continuing his form from Game 1 and has 19 points in the first half. This game has had a frenetic pace to it, which may explain why Anthony Davis is having a slow start after being the best player on the court in Game 1.

The Warriors need the series to be 1-1 heading to Los Angeles for Games 3 and 4 and it seems they are extremely motivated in making that happen.
