There are many stories that perfectly describe how incredible Michael Jordan was on the court, but also how competitive he was when he wasn’t destroying rivals with the Chicago Bulls or Washington Wizards.

Even after his retirement, Jordan kept doing his thing on and off the court, and he didn’t hesitate to take things to the next level. That’s what happened when he had a few drinks with singer Pitbull.

The Cuban-American artist recently revealed how bad he felt after drinking tequila with His Airness.

“I don’t party with Jordan, but I’ve seen it at the races. It’s funny because the last time I was with Jordan at the race, we were in Homestead and he’s got an amazing tequila, and congratulations to him and his tequila, “Cincoro” is the name of it. So I go to take a shot of it because that’s what I got taught how to do with tequila and he stopped me and said, ‘nah, you don’t take a shot of that. You sip that.’ I said, ‘alright, Mike, no problem.’ I didn’t take a shot, I did sip it, and I got f**ked up.’ I guess he knows what he’s talking about.”

This shows that MJ really values his brand and doesn’t consider one of the rest. It’s not for shots, it’s meant to be enjoyed little by little, although Pitbull learned that it’s really easy to get wasted if you go easy on it.

MJ has had success with his tequila brand, even competing against LeBron James’ Lobos 1707 in international competitions. They’ve done a terrific job with these brands, getting a lot of people drunk in the process.

Michael Jordan Could Destroy Opponents Even After Drinking

Contrary to Pitbull, Jordan was better at drinking. The six-time NBA champion was unbeatable, even if he faced alcohol. Magic Johnson said several times that he was impressed by MJ’s talent for drinking.

He could go and have a few drinks and then destroy his opponents, and Johnson saw that many times. Jordan was also smart not to drink before big games, as he did when Denzel Washington tried to get him drunk ahead of a Chicago Bulls vs. Los Angeles Lakers game.

There are plenty of memorable stories about Jordan, and even after he stopped playing basketball, he kept collecting big anecdotes.
