After his terrible performances in the 2023 NBA Playoffs and the announcement that he won’t be part of the Memphis Grizzlies’ plans for the next season, Dillon Brooks has been laughing stock around the NBA community.

Shaquille O’Neal has been very active talking about Brooks, roasting him after the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Memphis Grizzlies while also saying he doesn’t have the right to talk as much as he does

Moreover, he recently said that Brooks will be dominating Taiwan with one of Shaq’s biggest nemesis, Dwight Howard.

“The Memphis Grizzlies told Dillon Brooks, ‘you will not be returning.’ I know exactly what happened. You get a little bit of money, you start feeling yourself. You get some ice, you start feeling yourself. You play with Ja Morant, you’re feeling yourself. And a lot of times, when you feel yourself, you forget about yourself. And then, he didn’t play well enough to be acting like that,” said Shaq.

After he said that Brooks could be out of the league, the 4x NBA champion explained that Dillon isn’t that good of a player and mentioned Howard to share his opinion.

“Who’s gonna sign him? Now he’s gonna be out of the league or he’s gotta check himself before he wrecks himself. He’s not athletic, he ain’t jumping out of the gym. His jumper ain’t like that…”

“I’ve seen a lot of memes that say [Dillon Brooks] and Dwight are gonna be dominating in Taiwan next year.”

Shaq has been on a tear when it comes to criticizing Dwight Howard. Even after promising his mom that he would leave Howard alone, the 2020 NBA champion keeps catching strays whenever O’Neal feels like it.

Now, he’s using Brooks’ controversial situation to attack Dwight, who is yet to respond to all these comments.

Dillon Brooks Will Have A Market In The NBA This Summer

Meanwhile, Dillon is getting ready to test the waters of free agency, and contrary to what some people may think, he can have options within the NBA. According to Shams Charania, Brooks will draw interest around the league.

Brooks reportedly wanted a bigger role on the Grizzlies, and it remains to be seen if another team will give him the chance to showcase his talents better than Memphis ever did.
