The Miami Heat joined an elite list of just five other teams that beat the 1st seed as the 8th seed in the playoffs after their win over the Milwaukee Bucks. Jimmy Butler led his team to a famous victory that galvanized the whole franchise.

The Miami Heat struggled all season and even lost a game against the Atlanta Hawks in the play-in tournament. They weren’t expected to win at all, so when they did, the celebrations in the locker room were big.

During the celebration, Udonis Haslem said, “We definitely smoking on that Bucks pack!” Kevin Love was seen dapping everyone up and the atmosphere was just fantastic throughout the video.

Not only did the Miami Heat get the win, they did it in just five games, which is truly incredible. They have been rewarded with a Conference Semifinals matchup against the resurgent New York Knicks, and it promises to be a tough one. The Heat will need all the good energy and momentum around them to get the job done, but the path to another Eastern Conference Finals is wide open.

Kyle Lowry Called Jimmy Butler ‘Batman’ During The Celebrations

While the whole organization can feel good about the win, it is indisputable that Jimmy Butler was the man that made it possible. He had 56 points in Game 4 and then 42 points in Game 5 which helped the team close out the series against the best regular season team in the Eastern Conference. Fans are making comparisons to Michael Jordan, and during the celebrations, Kyle Lowry chose to equate Butler with a superhero instead.

As Butler walked into the locker room, Lowry was heard saying, “That’s Batman, y’all. That’s Batman. Everybody, Batman.”

Erik Spoelstra already singled Butler out as the reason the Miami Heat were able to pull off the series win, and he has gone to a special place already during these playoffs. While beating the Knicks will not be an easy task, Butler will be the biggest star on the court in every game, which gives them a good chance.

This Heat team has made a habit of impressing in the playoffs, and if they can get back to the Conference Finals, it will be a huge success considering the season they have enjoyed. But with the way he’s been cooking, Jimmy Butler is likely dreaming bigger dreams than that this season.
