Jeremy Lin’s NBA career was essentially over after winning the title with the Toronto Raptors in 2019.
Since then, Lin has been trying to make a comeback to the league but hasn’t found any luck. As a last resort, Lin joined the Kaohsiung Steelers of P. League+ in Taiwan. Jeremy Lin recently made headlines for recording a 50-point triple-double in the Taiwan league.

Lin’s entire stat line featured 50 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists while shooting 18-30 from the field, including four three-point shots. The 34-year-old’s insane performance helped the Steelers register a 116-110 win over the New Taipai Kings.
It’s obvious that Lin still has a lot of basketball left in him and can be a valuable addition to an NBA team. But will he ink a deal to make a comeback to the best basketball league in the world? Only time will tell.
Jeremy Lin Discussed His Time With The New York Knicks
Most fans remember Jeremy Lin from his days with the New York Knicks during the 2011-12 NBA season.
Lin made a name for himself by scoring 136 points in his first five NBA starts. It is popularly known as ‘Linsanity.’ Considering Lin was having a breakout season, it was certainly shady when the Knicks let him walk out the door in the offseason.
Many believe it was due to Carmelo Anthony getting jealous of Lin’s rising popularity. But Lin cleared the air about it and revealed Melo had no role in his exit from the Knicks.
“I mean, I think that’s… that’s the theory, and that’s what everyone says, but I can’t feed the speculation train because I don’t actually know. I know, and I’m saying this truthfully, that there were multiple points of opposition completely outside of Melo within what was going on, and once D’Antoni resigned, there was already opposition within the organization—whether it was the coaching staff that took over or certain members of the front office. But there was definitely, from what I’ve heard or gathered in the few years after, it wasn’t all as rosy as people thought it was. I don’t know who to attribute it to, but I know there were multiple points of opposition.”
For whatever reason, Lin’s time with the Knicks was cut short. But his Linsanity run in February 2012 will forever hold a special place in the hearts of NBA fans, regardless of where he plays.
