Jimmy Butler is one of those players in the NBA, who flip the switch come playoff time. Butler has proven that once again in the first-round series vs. the first-seeded Milwaukee Bucks.
Following a stunning Game 4 win behind Jimmy Butler’s 56-point scoring outburst, the Heat now have a 3-1 lead in the series. After the game, Butler peacefully laid down on the court for a while and may have ended up giving birth to a new NBA meme template.

Apart from scoring 56 points, Jimmy also registered 9 rebounds and 2 assists while playing 41 minutes in Game 4. Butler has been carrying the Heat on his back, and it certainly reminds us of when he did something similar during the 2020 NBA Finals vs. the Lakers.

The above-attached image is from Game 5 of the 2020 NBA Finals, where Butler recorded 35 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists. He led the Heat to a 111-108 win, but at the cost of getting completely exhausted.
Over the years, this image has become a very popular meme template and now, almost three years down the line, Butler has essentially given another meme to the fans.
Jimmy Butler Doesn’t Care About Getting MVP Chants
The 33-year-old Miami Heat superstar always brings out his A-game during the playoffs. This year, Jimmy is outplaying the best team in the Eastern Conference, it’s obviously worthy of receiving MVP chants, right?
Well, Butler received those after his 56-point performance vs. the Bucks. But the veteran superstar couldn’t care less about them and instead gave a shout-out to his former teammate Joel Embiid for deserving the MVP award.
“I don’t know about MVP. I think that’s Joel (Embiid), if I’m being brutally honest.”
Whether Jimmy Butler cares about being called the MVP or not, it wouldn’t stop fans from crowning him. After all, taking a 3-1 lead against the top-seeded team in the conference is no small feat.
