During the playoffs, the intensity of the games is at an insane level. At times, it leads to even the best of the players making gruesome mistakes that haunt them for the rest of their careers.
Los Angeles Clippers star Paul George recently talked about the biggest regret of his playoff career in a new episode of ‘Podcast P.’ George revealed the moment that took place during the 2013 NBA playoffs against LeBron James and the Miami Heat.
“The moment that I wish I could take back, and it still haunts me to this day, is the 2013 year in Miami when we lose game one. I f****d the play up. I’m guarding Bron, we’re up, a stop, and we win the game, and it just happened so fast. I’m guarding Bron, the ball’s sideout out of bounds. He zippers up fast as hell, so I’m like, ‘S**t like I gotta catch up to this,’ so I over pursue, he catches it like he read where I was at, spin right off me, and he lays it up for the game.”

James scored the winning layup to seal the game at 103-102 in favor of the Heat. As for the series, it went until seven games, the Heat ended up winning the series and then the NBA Finals later in the playoffs.
Paul George Loves To Play On The Road In The Playoffs
Every player is bound to have a few regrets in their career during the playoffs. Speaking of the postseason, many players tend to hate playing on the road.
However, Paul George is someone who loves to play in front of the away crowd. In fact, he admitted that it’s the sweetest thing to be a villain on the road during playoffs.
“You’re putting on a show and I have my best moments playing on the road because that’s how I looked at it. They’re there to get me out of my game. They’re trying everything in the book. They’re calling me names, you know, ‘PG you suck’ hearing ‘Pandemic P’ in Phoenix and Utah. ‘Pushoff P’ in Utah, you feed off that. You love being the villain at that point. It’s the sweetest thing to be the villain, I feed off that.”
It’s quite ironic that George’s biggest regret in his playoff career came on the road. But that hasn’t stopped PG13 from delivering memorable moments for fans during the postseason.
